Each year, we welcome an average of 10–15 new students across all grade levels.

New students accepted through Early Admission will receive a complimentary year of our after-school program (A-Kids) - a $7,200 value!

Our Admissions Process

Families are encouraged to visit our campus to experience Leadways School in action and learn more about our programs. Please use this link to schedule a tour with our admissions team.

As part of the enrollment process, we ask that parents request their child’s school records from their current school. These may include a special education file and any other documents related to academics, behavior, health, safety, testing, or disciplinary actions.

We also ask that you provide your child’s attendance and behavior records, a copy of their IEP or SST (if applicable), within two weeks of receiving your offer of enrollment letter.

Please note: If records are not received within this timeframe, it may delay your child’s registration and could affect their enrollment.

By sharing this information with us, you’re helping us prepare for a smooth transition and ensuring your child gets the support they need right away.

As part of the application, we ask families to complete two separate video interiews:

Parent/Legal Guardian Video
- Both parents (if applicable) or legal guardian(s) should be present in the video.
- We will provide a link for video recording.
- This will help us understand your family values, goals for your child, and expectations for their education.
Student Video
- Your child should answer the age-appropriate set of questions we provide.
- This will give us a chance to see your child’s personality, interests, and communication style.

After applying for admission, families may select a date from three available shadow day options.

During the shadow day, your child will spend a full day on campus, participating in the day’s lessons and activities alongside our students and teachers.

As part of the shadow day, your child will also complete an evaluation on reading, language arts, writing, math, and overall readiness for their grade level. Parents will then be provided with a summary of the assessment results and recommended placement in mathematics, reading, and overall academics.

December 1st, 2025

February 2nd, 2026

March 6th, 2026

> Early Decision notifications will be communicated by January 16, 2026

> All other admission decisions will be communicated by March 20, 2026

Decisions will be based on the student’s application, teacher recommendations, school records, and performance during the shadow day or group play date evaluation.

Families will receive one of the following

Offer of Admission – Students are invited to enroll.
Waiting list – Students are qualified but placed in a wait pool due to limited space.
Non-Admission – School is not the best fit at this time.

> Families who receive an offer during early admission must confirm enrollment, submit all required documents, and pay a non-refundable deposit by January 30.

> Families who receive an offer during regular admission must confirm enrollment, submit all required documents, and pay a non-refundable deposit by April 3.

*Failure to meet these requirements may delay the admission process or affect the admission decision.

We welcome rolling applications after the admissions deadline. These applications will be reviewed once the regular admissions round is complete and decisions have been released. If spots remain after the regular admission round, we will review the rolling applications. If no spots are available, families will be placed on a waiting list.
