At Leadways School, our mathematics program goes beyond traditional calculation-focused instruction to develop students who think critically, reason logically, and approach complex problems with confidence and creativity. Through our carefully selected curriculum featuring Beast Academy and Art of Problem Solving (AoPS), we prepare students for success in an increasingly quantitative and data-driven world.

Program Philosophy

Our mathematics program is built on the belief that true mathematical fluency involves much more than memorizing procedures. We focus on developing deep conceptual understanding, flexible problem-solving strategies, and logical reasoning abilities. Students learn to see mathematics as a coherent, connected discipline rather than isolated skills, and develop the persistence and analytical thinking necessary to tackle unfamiliar problems in any context.

Beast Academy (K-4)

In our elementary program, we utilize Beast Academy's innovative approach which:

Art of Problem Solving (5-8)

As students progress to middle school, our AoPS-based curriculum:
