Our Holistic Curriculum
Our curriculum is designed to nurture the whole child, blending foundational knowledge with opportunities for exploration, creativity, and problem-solving. Every student receives Music, Art, PE, Genius Hour, and personalized support in small classes, ensuring their individual learning styles and interests are celebrated and nurtured.
Advisory
A cornerstone of the Leadways experience, Advisory sets the tone for each day. Students gather in a supportive environment to practice mindfulness, develop social-emotional skills, and set meaningful academic and personal goals.
Leadways Lab
This interdisciplinary course connects science, technology, and ethics, with projects focusing on engineering, environmental challenges, and artificial intelligence. Students learn, CAD, 3d Printing, environmental design, and how to functionally use AI as a partner in their learning.
Music & Art
Students engage in self-expression and cultural appreciation through visual and performing arts, fostering creativity and confidence. Students participate in these classes two times per week, with additional extension opportunities in Genius Hour.
Genius Hour
A unique opportunity for students to pursue passion projects, explore personal goals, and receive individualized support from our expert educators. This unique daily period adds agency and authenticity to the learning process.
Physical Education
Promoting a healthy lifestyle, our PE program emphasizes teamwork, resilience, and physical fitness. Students don't just play games, they learn about how their body works and each of the benefits from the different styles of movement.
English & Social Studies
We recognize that understanding history and mastering literacy go hand in hand. By weaving English and Social Studies together, our integrated approach brings the past to life, helping students develop critical thinking, empathy, and a deeper understanding of the world.
Math
Our math program develops problem-solving skills and logical reasoning, preparing students for success in a data-driven world.
Science
Hands-on investigations guide students through topics such as space, earth systems,, living systems, and investigation and design, emphasizing, collaboration, and real-world connections. This is all delivered through Gold Standard Project Based Learning units.
