    In this 10-day, 15-hour course specially designed for Grade 5 and above, students will delve into the rich tapestry of British literature, examining key texts within the context of historical events, alongside other period literature, and exploring the livelihoods of the authors.

    Course Goals:

    • Develop critical analysis skills for AP Literature exams and school reading comprehension.

    Instructor:

    Dr. Carpenter is a dynamic educator, blending expertise in science and technology with a passion for language and semantics. Formerly Vice President and Chief Science & Technology Officer at NuFORENSICS, Inc., he has 30 years of experience spanning nuclear fuels research, radiation detection, and wisdom-base design. A former U.S. Navy reactor operator and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory researcher, he also co-managed Sun Microsystems' FAST tool. Today, he imparts knowledge in English and Applied Semantics, enriching students with his multidisciplinary insights.
