DataHack and Datathon Workshop at Leadways School in Cupertino, CA

Organized by CP Mentorship, 7EDU, and Leadways School and sponsored by WiDS (Women in Data Science), an upcoming one-day workshop is set to prepare participants for the WiDS Datathon 2024. This year's theme will be Equity in Healthcare, where participants can analyze inequities in the treatment of various people and groups.


The workshop is open to students in Grades 4-12, welcoming both boys and girls. Parents may also join. Admission is free, and participants are required to bring their own laptops to engage effectively in the workshops and projects. Food and drinks will be provided.


Workshop Agenda: 

  • Keynote speeches by professors in Marketing & Data Science

  • Interactive and hands-on workshops, led by experts on technical data science skills needed for the datathon challenges.

  • Competition team formation & networking

  • Team working on projects separately

  • Final team presentation

  • Python workshop provided
