Robin Chen
Robin Chen is an experienced educator with international experience. She earned a double bachelors degree in Chinese and Linguistics at Carnegie Mellon University, and then earned her masters degree in Teaching Chinese at Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey, California. As part of the Fulbright program, she has taught at Lingya Elementary School and Chengjheng Elementary School in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. In the US, she has taught at Yu Ming Charter School in Oakland, CA, and Bullis Charter School in Los Altos, CA.
Robin has a passion for curriculum development that supports individual learners' needs. Her nine years in the classroom helped her develop skills in creating and teaching PBL units, differentiation, and community building. Additionally, she is excited to continue her work in mentoring other teachers and helping them reach their goals.
Outside of school, Robin loves drawing, birdwatching, cooking, word games, and learning new things. She also loves spending time with her daughters, Phoebe and Calliope. She can't wait to bring her diverse experiences and background to Leadways!
